About this role:
This role will have you working for a market leader in providing solutions for its customer base in handling containers, automotive and general cargo.

As a Stevedore you will be supporting our client’s operations, these include but are not limited to:

• The operation of ITV’s, small fork-lifts and other small mechanical equipment
• Loading and discharging general cargoes and commodities, including steel products and motor vehicles
• Shipboard and wharf duties - lashing and unlashing, packing and unpacking of containers
• Basic servicing of Equipment and basic security duties incidental to the performance of functions

Essential requirements:
• Must hold Manual Driver’s licence
• Clean driving record
• Willing to obtain an MSIC
• Forklift ticket (an advantage)
• Must be prepared to work irregular shifts pattern
• Able to perform heavy manual labour

Skills and Experience
• Dogging, Crane (highly regarded but not essential)
• Demonstrated ability to comply with safety behaviours
• Demonstrated ability to work within a small team environment
