About PolyNovo
PolyNovo is an ASX listed Australian manufacturer, developing Medical Devices for reconstructive surgery and tissue repair with our patented biodegradable polymer technology. These devices are designed to repair tissue deficits such as skin, bone or internal structures through the provision of a scaffold where the patient's tissues can integrate and replace the device over time. The Role, Job Tasks & Responsibilities
As a company on a growth trajectory, this is a new role, waiting for your expertise in Supply, Production & Inventory management, and is an exciting opportunity to join our team in the Operations and Manufacturing area. It’s not your regular purchasing/materials role, we want your nous operationally to understand and champion the materials supply and the key nature of this responsibility to production, and successful manufacturing outcomes.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing the supply of raw materials in the manufacturing processes. You will also have responsibility for supply and logistics to global distributors. The role also interacts with R&D, QC and production significantly to ensure process capability, production volume and quality, QC processes to meet demand. You will have critical relationships with our Manufacturing and Finance teams with forecasting and operational costs. You will also assist in new market development supply needs whilst meeting our regulatory requirements, reducing cost and improving processes & sustainability. You will maintain develop, evaluate and manage reliable and safe supplier systems and input to internal systems to support growth and critical materials information.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have proven materials purchasing experience, and ideally, previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment. You may possess a degree qualification in Business or Engineering Materials or equivalent experience as a minimum. ERP systems experience will be well regarded
With a flair for continuous improvement, you will be able to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers, and other stakeholders and can take accountability for the quality and timeliness of your work outputs. Highly developed communication and personal presentation skills will be crucial.
