We are currently seeking a Relief Scheduler to join the Logistics team in our Eagle Farm office.

The primary purpose of this position is to assume overall responsibility for leave coverage of our Fuel Schedulers. In this role you will provide a high level of coordination and assume responsibility for the day to day management of vehicle scheduling including allocation of driver and equipment resources. This is an exciting, challenging, problem solving role where no two days are ever the same

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring that all employees under your control strictly follow all Company Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements;
  • Allocating and scheduling of truck and trailer combinations as required meeting pre-determined customer and productivity requirements;
  • Monitor planned trips and progression to ensure compliance with customer requirements including active engagement of customers on any delays impacting ETA's.
  • First point of contact for drivers and customers for scheduling related issues;
  • Providing relief coverage on a rotating, 7 day roster

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience in scheduling fuel deliveries or logistics;
  • Awareness of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSSEQ and responsibilities;
  • Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to problem solve and cope with unexpected changes
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to work a 7 day roster
  • Strong geographical knowledge of South QLD
  • Strong IT skills

    You must be legally entitled to work in Australia to accept this position and will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates.
