Southern Steel Supplies, part of the Southern Steel Group, is a dynamic leader in the steel industry, offering a comprehensive steel distribution service throughout NSW.
We are looking for a Machine Operator to join the Plate Profiling team located in Milperra.
The main function of this position is to operate various machines – Plasma, Oxy and Drilling. This position will also involve warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts.
Desirable but not essential criteria:
- Experience in the operation of Plasma, Oxy and / or Laser machines
- Warehouse / Distribution experience preferably within a steel environment
- Current forklift licence
- Overhead crane experience
