Select Harvests (SHV) is a prominent almond growing, processing and marketing company in Australia. We offer a “paddock to plate” proposition and produce approximately 20% of Australia’s almonds as well as processing and marketing a range of nuts, fruit based, and associated products within Australia and export markets in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. We operate an integrated end to end supply chain.
We supply both branded and private label products to key retailers, distributors and industrial users. Our market leading brands are Lucky, Sunsol, NuVitality and Soland in retail markets and Renshaw and Allinga Farms in wholesale and industrial markets. In addition to almonds, we market a broad range of snacking and cooking nuts, health mixes and muesli.
As a Maintenance Fitter you will be under direction of the engineer and maintenance manager and will carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to operate equipment and associated technology safely whilst adhering to work procedures
- Trade qualifications obtained in Fitting and Machining
- Certificates obtained in or able to obtain Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Boom Lift, Forklift and Non Slewing Crane.
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound verbal, reading and written literacy skills
- Computer literacy and ability to work with process control systems
