About the role
Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for pressing operations required to manufacture and laminate particleboard in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with company schedules & quality specifications.
Skills and experience
Desirably you will have:
- Ability to work rotating 24 / 7 shifts (overtime if required)
- Car Licence & Forklift licence
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to operate large mechanical equipment & mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform physical labour tasks, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing
- Ability to perform quality control inspections against product standards
- Ability to work at heights & confined spaces
- Understanding of Safe Work Practices / OH&S legislation
- Well-developed communication skills, written & verbal, numeracy skills and basic computer knowledge
