Roles & Responsibilities

Working closely with the National Manager – Service, Service leads, and the wider business, the Service Business Analyst will gather and deliver business requirements, define processes, analyse data, and contribute training content for a variety of reengineering programs. You are also responsible for defining and delivering reporting and insights requirements to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive customer experience improvements in Service.  You will collaborate closely with business owners and IT to define and deliver an automated Business Insights and Reporting suite, with proper maintenance and governance, that supports the immediate needs of Ricoh Service and evolves as these needs transform.

This role will deliver business requirements & process definition, data validation, feasibility analysis, process validation, continuous improvement and training content for re-engineering programs.

• Understand service processes, systems, and data supporting delivery of service to Ricoh customers
• Facilitating review and design of standardised processes and work flows
• Gathering, defining, and documenting the Service organisation’s requirements for reporting and insights
• Working in conjunction with IT to deliver Service reporting and insights development and roll-out
• Ongoing engagement with processes, data, and visualisation tools to successfully implement new reporting and business insights capabilities.
• Participate in design & capability development projects – delivering business requirements, technical design inputs, participating in data validation, testing, training and user sign-off
• Continuously develop skills and understanding to become a trusted consultant and deliver value beyond own function

Candidate Criteria

• 5+ years’ experience in a business analysis and/or insights/analytics role
• Critical thinking is crucial
• Understanding technology sector (hardware, software, and/or services) business models, operational processes and systems
• Business analysis and requirements definition skills
• Expertise in analytics and insight visualisation tools, e.g. Excel, VBA, SQL, Cognos, Tableaux, Qlik, etc.
• Ability to visualise and analyse process, transaction, and data flows  
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to engage and navigate all levels of the organisation
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to deliver high quality work.
