Your new role

Pitcher Partners Consulting Melbourne has a dedicated and highly specialist financial modelling team.

Whether it’s evaluating strategic options, new ventures or existing operations, financial modelling is an integral part of the decision-making process for organisations in the private and public sectors. Our team develops valuable insights using financial models to enhance our clients’ capacity to make informed decisions.

This role will challenge you on:

• Liaising with clients to develop an understanding of their needs and requirements
• Building and testing models to provide vital decision-making support
• Delivering work on complex and challenging engagements that will develop your commercial problem solving and analytical skills
• Engaging and collaborating with our other area of the firm including Audit and Assurance, Corporate Finance, Private Clients and Tax Consulting

You will work across an exciting range of engagements such as business cases, feasibility studies, infrastructure projects, tenders, mergers and acquisitions and strategic decision support.

What you bring

With strong accounting and finance knowledge you are currently producing financial models but are looking to be supported and progress your career to work on more complex and challenging projects.

You are analytical and enjoy solving problems. With a desire to challenge yourself you can easily adapt to new ways of working, be innovative and influence when necessary.

Having already worked in a large, complex organisation you enjoy working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues.

System savvy with strong excel and modelling skills.
