This position has responsibility for the scoping, oversight and ongoing management of change management activities to support the successful implementation of technology-related projects.
This Change Manager is responsible for leading and embedding the change associated with the planning, development and implementation of IT's corporate systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and managing all change activities to support the successful implementation of projects and programs.
- Implementing change management strategies and associated activities to defined budgets and timeframes.
- Identifying and managing risk throughout a project lifecycle.
KEY DUTIES
- Develop, design, implement and evaluate project change strategies using evidence-based methodology.
- Lead the development and implementation of change communication and training strategies for key stakeholders.
- Develop, implement and evaluate solutions to identify people risks and anticipated points of resistance.
- Provide complex and high-level advice to key stakeholders on change management strategies.
- Effectively collaborate with the project team to analyse and determine the scope of change management, including strategies, resources, estimates and plans.
- Motivate staff to minimise resistance to new technology and raise performance.
- Evaluate and manage user readiness.
- Consult, coach and support project sponsors, project team members and other stakeholders throughout change management activities.
