The Role
The purpose of this role is to manage the function of the Portfolio Planning team. This encompasses managing team performance in a dynamic environment; delivering exceptional stakeholder support; collaborating with other teams and solving ambiguous problems.
This role sits within Personal Injury Portfolio & Products (PIP&P) which consists of both Accident & Trauma related schemes (CTP and both Workers Compensation Underwritten and Fee for Service) and Lifestyle related products (Life and Travel).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of the PIP&P annual business plan and scheme/product plans
- Lead tactical portfolio management to deliver against Group strategy and business plan
- Liaise with other personal injury and group functions to priorities and execute key portfolio initiatives in support of the plan upward delivery of CEO Insurance requirements
- Strongly influence and contribute to group strategy and development
- Support Accident & Trauma and Lifestyle scheme and product owners as required
Skills & Experience
- Relevant degree in Business, Commerce, Actuarial or related field
- Post-graduate degree (or working towards) - desired
- Knowledge and understanding of Personal Injury environment
- Proven experience in developing annual business plans
- Show interest in developing your skills within a planning team and providing strategic thought leadership in an advisory capacity
