THE COMPANY
The Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) is an active and powerful advocacy organisation dedicated to the best interests of farmers and making a difference to agricultural communities in Tasmania.
THE ROLE
Working with our team you will play a pivotal role in developing and driving policy outcomes and practical solutions for our members and the broader Tasmanian agricultural community. No two days will be the same and you will engage with new people and work with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be part of a committed and effective policy team who'll appreciate what you bring to the table. To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a policy and/or advocacy role.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and achieve results with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a political environment and a sound knowledge of the role of local, state and federal governments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all facets of people.
- Strong research and report writing abilities backed by sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
