Westgold is currently the 6th largest domestic gold producer in Australia, currently producing ~300,000oz per annum of gold and has production expanding to well over 400,000oz per annum. The Opportunity:
- Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator
- 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster
- Surface operation
Your Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- Diagnose faults, inspect and test machinery in a fixed plant environment and determine repair action required.
- Routine inspections of fixed plant machinery and carry out preventative measures.
- Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of mechanical components to process equipment such as lube systems, gearboxes, slurry pumps, centrifugal pumps, vaccum paste filters.
- Maintain detailed maintenance history in maintenance management system
- Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Hold a valid EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space certificates (desirable)
- Proven experience in a Fixed Plant Maintenance environment
- Experience in the repair and service of all mechanical site equipment
- Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques
- A sound working knowledge of processing plants mechanical - crushing, milling, CIL Paste Plants circuits and associated infrastructure.
- Minimum 2 years in an mechanical mining environment
