Our client is a world class energy provider with a diversified portfolio of power generation and retail power sales operations.
As a member of the Operational Excellence team, the Business Improvement Specialist manages improvement processes across the Asset Management division. The role is to assist in identifying and delivering changes that add value to the business and develop a culture that drives ongoing improvement
This role
- Coordinates the identification of improvement opportunities
- Delivers and assists others to deliver improvements through Lean, Six Sigma, Agile and Innovation processes
- Educates employees in improvement processes
- Streamlines end-to-end processes
- Develops an improvement culture across the business through mentoring and supporting processes
About you
- Applicants should have tertiary qualifications and previous experience in leading change.
- Extensive experience in a large integrated and process related business.
- Black Belt Six Sigma and Agile trained highly desirable
- Demonstrated strong stakeholder management across multiple sites and locations
- Strong communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
