Glencore’s Mount Isa Mines Copper and Lead Zinc operations are now advertising for applications to our 2019 Apprenticeship Program. Our competency based program consists of on-the-job practical learning and off-site training with TAFE Queensland North. You will be exposed to a variety of environments as we rotate you throughout our operations to develop your skills and offer the best possible learning outcomes in your trade.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals committed to gaining a nationally recognised qualification whilst being provided the right skills, guidance and professional development that can lead to exciting career opportunities in the mining industry. Positons will be offered at our Mount Isa Mines and operations based in  Mount Isa for commencement in late January 2019 across the following trade areas:

• Electrical
• Auto Electrical
• Diesel Fitting
• Fitter Welder
• Fitter Turner
• Radio Technician
• Boilermaker
• Refrigeration Technician
• Mechanic
