Underground Service Crew

About our Client:
Our client, Rio Tinto owns and operates the Argyle diamond mine in the remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia.
About the Role:
We are looking for qualified and experienced Underground Service Crew Operators to join the Underground Mining Operations teams to be responsible for daily machine operation and maintenance.
The role is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kununurra on a 2:1 roster, day shift and night shift.
Duties:
- Extend ventilation services to areas where needed, which includes hanging ventilation bags and moving/installing secondary fans
- Extend water, air and pump services to areas where needed
- Move and install pumps to areas where needed
- Maintain and repair services and equipment such as vent bags, poly pipe and valves
- Hand installation and grouting of cable bolts
- Installation of underground infrastructure
- Construction of ventilation walls
Requirements:
- Underground experence
- Full WA Manual Drivers Licence
- Ability to provide a National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen
