Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.

As a result of the company’s continued growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Administrator to join our team in Henderson.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain health, safety, environment and quality databases, ensure files and systems are up to date, in conjunction with the sites.
  • Maintain tracking systems as required, and assist with the development and maintenance of registers, personnel training records, risk registers, documents and matrixes.
  • Analysis and reporting of HSEQ specific information relating to scheduled events, unplanned events/incidents, audits, actions, inspections and observations.
  • Compilation of monthly reports and associated presentations, and provision of assistance to the HSEQ team with data control, integrity and moderation.
  • General involvement in HSEQ business activities, including assistance with document preparation, audit coordination, scheduled HSEQ meetings, toolbox topics, event alerts, presentations and so on.
  • System administration and document controller duties and responsibilities for the Orontide Electronic Document Management System (Intralogic).
  • System Administration duties and responsibilities for the Orontide INX InControl event reporting and analysis system and the INX InTuition training and skills database.

To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in occupational health and safety, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an administration capacity, supporting to senior management level and you will have exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You will be a competent user of the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate to senior computing skills, and experience using Intralogic and INX will be highly regarded.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and proactive approach to safety.
  • Ability to work against tight deadlines.
  • A friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals, groups and other organizations to carry out goals.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
  • Self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented.
