Golding has been selected to commence mining operations at the Baralaba Mining Project. We are now seeking a site based Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage the maintenance crews as part of the project team. We will offer the suitable candidate permanent full-time employment.
Key Task Types
- Lead your crews to safely and efficiently deliver the production plan
- Work with your Manager, Engineers and Mining personnel to develop and implement maintenance plans
- Recruit capable people necessary to implement the plan within your limits of authority
- Assess the training requirements of your crews and authorise training and development opportunities subject to operational requirements
- Take measures such that there are effective shift handovers, prestart and toolbox meetings
- Monitor and evaluate performance to identify variance from the production plan and act where necessary
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Carry out inspections and job observations
- Lead and/or participate in incident investigations using the ICAM methodology
Capability Requirements
- Mechanical engineering degree and/or trade qualification
- Demonstrated technical engineering skills proficiency
- Strong mental processing ability to solve complex problems
- Sound social process skills and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships
- Demonstrated strong drive, energy and work efficiency
