The role
You will be responsible for maintaining tails pipe work, pumping activities and site dewatering functions to the highest standard
What will you be doing
- Maintain the running of the Processing Plant tails line so as to ensure that a smooth and continual process is maintained at all times.
- Report on tails activities to the Leading Hand Piping and Pumping.
- Involvement in and supervision of day to day tails related projects.
- Maintain regular and effective communication and feedback with colleagues and other departments
- Regularly check that tailings piping and pumping parameter set points are being achieved.
- Ensure that all plant equipment is regularly checked.
- Ensure that all piping and pumping data and information is accurately recorded on relevant log sheets and entered into the data base.
- Commit to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution
Are you the one?
- Experienced poly pipe welder
- Previous experience in mill operations or tails piping operating role
- An aptitiude for piping and pumping type works
- Ability to work safely at all times
