About the Role
We are seeking applications from an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our talented team.
As an expert in the oil and gas sector you will understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the oil and gas and mining sector. Your experience in engineering will afford you technical knowledge and capability to apply new leading-edge solutions to existing surveillance, access control and alarm systems.
Previous experience in the oil and gas sector will be highly regarded, as will previous experience with CCTV, PSIM and other electronic security solutions.
The ability to develop strong relationships and pursue business opportunities is essential.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector
- Bring to the table new business contacts
- Develop business proposals and tender documents
- Broaden the scope of existing work through relationship management and a thorough understanding of the technologies represented by Western Advance.
Experience and skills:
- A strong understanding of engineering principles
- Excellent communications skills
- A 'solutions' mindset and ability to recognise and convert opportunities
- Previous experience/ qualification in engineering or technical experience in relevant fields
- Previous experience in oil and gas, mining or electronic security solutions
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated self-starter, mature, reliable and have excellent communication skills. You will be adaptable, resourceful and have a strong client focus.
