DBCT P/L is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisors.
As Supervisor for either electrical system maintainers or mechanical system maintainers, you will be working on shutdowns and planned maintenance on all our equipment across site.
A key focus of this permanent role is to ensure optimal safety performance and productivity in order to maximise reliability and sustainability. Providing visible safety leadership, you will spend majority of your time in the field coaching and mentoring your teams.
Reporting to the Superintendent, this role plays a pivotal part in continuing to improve operational processes, through:
- Coaching and leading a team of multi-skilled tradespeople
- Supervision of the permanent and contractor workforce
- Managing employees and contractors as per EBA and contract agreements
- Collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure maintenance plans and schedules are met
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety management activities
- Ensuring JDE work management processes are followed
- Monitoring maintenance budgets and contributing to their preparation
To be successful in the role, you will be a safety focused leader with demonstrated experience managing a multi-disciplinary team in an industrial environment. Having a clear understanding of preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance and reliability is required. You will have trade qualifications, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to communication with multiple parties.
