Seeking a Senior Contracts Consultant for a 2-3 month contract work in Perth CBD, the role will have flexible working hours.

The role will primarily focus on managing a tender package for remote areas work. The role will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and partnering with the Acting Manager of Contracts, the Senior Contracts Consultant will be responsible for procurement and contract activities for the several service packages related to Exploration and Studies scope of works. Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on procurement, procedures, and contract activities.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Commerce or related field
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Australia
• Minimum 15 years’ significant working experience in senior contracts management and procurement roles
• Significant experience in the formulation of strategy to engage ECI, EPC and PMC contractors in the mining industry, the negotiations of contracts and the contractual management of these contractors
• Significant work experience where responsible for the design and implementation of the Supply Function and associated areas
• Proven experience in negotiation and delivery of workable commercial agreements coupled with sound understanding of contractual arrangements and terms and conditions
• Sound knowledge of relevant Australian legislation
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in direct management of team personnel. Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills and ability to engage with key stakeholders
