About the Role
Our Rutherford or Muswellbrook plant mechanics/fitters carry out a vital role in our business conducting field service/diagnostic work on a variety of diesel and heavy vehicles throughout mines in the Hunter Valley. Their professional servicing, maintenance, overhaul and repair of these vehicles are class leading and place us at the forefront with our respected clients.
This role is based from our Rutherford or Muswellbrook sites, and would genuinely suit candidates from the neighbouring areas.
Key Duties
- Demonstrate a safety first outlook,
- Diagnose faults and servicing/maintenance to a wide range of vehicles,
- Maintain positive communication with our clients,
- Maintain all documents relating to work or site specific requirements,
Skills & Experience
- Appropriate trade qualifications in diesel/heavy vehicle mechanics,
- Proven experience in a similar role,
- Demonstrated time management with the ability to effectively prioritise,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work unsupervised or in a team as required
- Fluid power training would also be an advantage, but not essential.
