The Position
Due to business growth we are searching for a Leading Hand Mobile Plant Mechanic. As a Leading Hand Mobile Plant Mechanic you will have the ability to supervise a small team and lead by example, organising and performing field service repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics in an effective and timely manner.
The Role
This role will suit an experienced Maintenance Fitter Leading Hand with mobile plant experience, the ideal applicant will have an opportunity to commence work at a new mine site opening within the mid-west region; based on a 2:1 roster. The ideal applicant will have previous FIFO experience in a similar leadership role.
The Requirements
To be considered for these positions you must have the following:
- Previous Supervisor, Management or Leading Hand experience
- Trade qualified mobile Plant Mechanic
- Experience with field service repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics
- High risk working licence , Forklift , hiab , Crane , Dogging , Rigging
- Pronto experience
- Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earthmoving equipment
- Experience with Hino, Isuzu ,Tatra Water Carts and Service Trucks
- Exceptional communication skills and computer literate
- A strong attitude towards WHS
- A commitment to attendance
- A National Police Clearance or ability to pass one is required
