HV Electrician Gain experience at a unique and specialised Diamond mine Work in a challenging and rewarding role with scope for development FIFO from Perth – Fixed Term Contracts until Dec 2019 - Argyle Diamond Mine About the roleWe are looking for High Voltage Electricians to play a key role in maintaining the site's mobile equipment fleet through preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and scheduled component replacement. This role is a great opportunity for enthusiastic self-starters who are safety oriented team members who will be responsible for the timely delivery and safe operations to meet production and mining schedules. Working a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster and reporting to the Fixed Plant Electrical Supervisor, you will: Work alongside a team of high performing individuals who are passionate about mobile equipment maintenance Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance to mobile equipment fleet Working towards increasing equipment reliability and availability of the mobile equipment fleet Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks and progress are recorded Working autonomously to monitor the process in a safe and effective manner Working effectively to maintenance schedule Prioritising work and liaising with Team Leaders and Supervisors About you To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: Manual C Class drivers licence HV Switching Ticket "A" Grade Electrical Licence Able to obtain National Police Clearance It will also be beneficial if you have: Working at Heights certificate High Risk Work Licenses including Intermediate Rigger / Forklift / EWP / CN Underground experience Computer literacy with the Microsoft Office suite and experience with SAP Where you will be working Rio Tinto owns and operates the Argyle diamond mine in the remote East Kimberley region of Western Australia. The mine has been operating since 1983 and has produced more than 800 million carats of rough diamonds.
