The Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Product Manager - Initiation Systems (IS) for our Product and Applications Technology team. This is a great opportunity to join our team based in Brisbane where you can demonstrate your initiation systems product knowledge and strong project management methodology and experience.
- Lead the stewardship of IS and HE products
- Manage the entire IS/HE product offering
- Actively participate in trials, conversions and new product rollouts
- Be responsible for pricing, profitability & reporting
- Develop and keep the DNAP IS/HE strategy fresh and focused
About You
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related engineering or science discipline
- Detailed knowledge of explosives and understanding of product characteristics, applications and mining methods
- Solid experience in the explosives industry and/or with explosive products
- Strong mining industry relationships
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
- Electronic detonator product experience (preferred)
- Promotion of HSE procedures to ensure Zero Harm at all times
Your strong customer focus, product knowledge and good problem-solving abilities will showcase a well organised individual. You will have a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement, together with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
