Pason Systems Inc. is the world's largest provider of onshore rental oil field instrumentation systems.
We are seeking a Field Service and Sales Technician who is energetic, personable and self-motivated to work the front line. To provide outstanding service to our customers in the installation and on-going support of our various products on onshore drilling and service rigs.
This is a high profile front line position which requires a high degree of dedication and above average attention to detail. The ability to work independently during irregular and sometimes long hours, strong organizational and problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively interact and work in a team environment is a key factor in being successful within this role. Experience with oilfield drilling and service rigs as well as instrumentation and computers is favorable and the use of basic hand tools is a requirement. We provide the training and on-going support required to be successful and all necessary tools and equipment.
This role is FIFO (Fly In Fly Out) as most of our sites are in regional SA, SE Queensland and New South Wales. Permanent residence within South Australia is desirable. There may also be the occasional requirement for international travel to service and install Pason equipment. You will be required to do considerable driving of our manual 4WD vehicles when in the field
DO NOT apply for this position if being away for 2 weeks or more at a time with 12 hour days does not suit your lifestyle! Previous FIFO experience will be looked upon favorably.
You must be able to take responsibility for your role and be a strong communicator, able to juggle numerous tasks and demands, whilst ensuring all documentation and reporting is completed.
The following certificates are advantageous though not a necessity – Well Site Permit To Work + Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Senior First Aid and Santos 4WD.
A valid Australian drivers license is mandatory and must be maintained during employment with us. We also require you to hold a valid passport or the eligibility to obtain a passport.
