Our Client is an established heavy building materials supplier to the construction industry. 
 
Due to a recent staff re-structure an exciting opportunity has opened up at one of its quarries for an experienced and highly capable quarry manager to manage the operations.
 
We are looking for a dynamic, intelligent and enthusiastic manager to become the 'face' of the quarry.  We are looking for someone with a technical background with previous quarry/mining experience who also comes with a strong commercial awareness who understands the importance of developing and maintaining relationships with key Clients in a tight knit rural community.  
 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the quarry as well as managing and maintaining key client relationships.  They will have a quarry supervisor as well as a maintenance supervisor reporting into them who will be managing production and the machinery but overall productivity of the facility will be the quarry manager's responsibility. 
 
To be considered for this role you will:

• Previous experience managing a quarry
• Strong knowledge of crushed rock quarry process
• Come from a trade/technical background
• Be a proven and positive communicator
• Understand the importance of establishing & maintaining relationships
