About the business and the role
Exploration drilling in coal and water bores.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Provide support to Driller, Supervisors & Management as required
Work effectively as a team member in a safe cost effective and efficient manner
Comply with Company HSEC Policies and Procedures as well as site specific rules
Present fit for work
Assist in conducting of all drilling operations
Assist in maintenance of all equipment
Assist in safe and efficient equipment mobilisation
Manually handle heavy tools, equipment and plant
Skills and experience
As a minimum requirement have the following:
Hold a current HR drivers licence
Current Coal Board Medical
Current Standard 11
Completed or in processing of completing Certificate II in Drilling
Good communication (verbal and written) skills
Physical fitness and dexterity are essential
