We are looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to join our Perth, WA team.

Schlumberger Peak Well Systems is seeking the services of suitably qualified Assembly Technicians to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.  These positions during busy periods may be required to work a shift roster, including night-shift.

The successful candidates will work in a team comprised of other assembly and workshop technicians who will be jointly responsible in ensuring the timely movement of tools through the workshop, with specific emphasis on the highest quality output and meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Reside in Australia and have the full right to live and work in Australia.
• No travel restrictions.
• Assembly and testing of Peak products as per drawing specifications, including function and pressure testing prior to despatch.
• Maintaining the highest standards in the assembly of Peak tools to meet Client expectations.
• Reading and understanding of assembly and engineering drawings.
• Sandblasting, deburring, engraving and other workshop duties as required.
• Assistance with logistics requirements, including despatch of product for surface treatment and to the Client.
• QA/QC inspection of Peak products and raising NCR’s as required through the online reporting system.
• Deliver all activities consistent with Peak and Schlumberger’s QHSE expectations, ensuring safety and quality are a priority.
• Active participation in the requirements of Peak and Schlumberger’s annual QHSE Objectives and undertake required training in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high standard of 5S and take pride in your working environment.
• Undertake driving duties when required for deliveries/collections and other workshop duties as directed.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Hydraulic mechanical competency required.
• Confident in undertaking manual workshop duties.
• Professional attitude and proven work ethic.
• Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
