LV Mechanic required on leading mine site FIFO from Perth
Your new company
You will be working for a large multinational resources company with a strong safety culture that flows through all areas of the business. They have a strong presence in the Pilbara with a number of established mines as well as port and rail operations.
Your new role
You will be responsible for carrying out general mechanical work including repairs, attending breakdowns and service work in a workshop to all light vehicles and when required to assist on heavy equipment. The role is based on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off with 12 hour shifts.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to all light vehicles and when required to assist with heavy equipment and fixed plant
- Perform fault finding, repairing and/ or replacing components as required
- Maintain light vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Valid manual drivers licence;
- Strong fault finding & diagnostic skills;
