About the business
The Lorena Gold Project is located about 15km east of Cloncurry in Northwest Queensland and will produce about 30,000 ounces of gold from the Lorena Gold Project.
The project will be using a mobile CIL (Carbon-In-Leach) plant which is currently being commissioned to treat gold concentrate and tailings.
About the role
As the Processing Supervisor you will report to the Processing Superintendent and will be part of a team that will plan, analyse and control the quality of processes involved in bringing material from its raw state to a state that can be used for production purposes. You will be responsible for the implementation of process efficiencies, daily production performance, safety and hazard identification and maintenance requirements
Supervisor Duties
- Hands on supervisor with mechanical knowledge (someone who is not afraid to work with the processing and maintenance team)
- Supervise Process Technicians on a shift basis to obtain a high level of operator performance
- Optimize plant performance on a shift basis by correct control of operating parameters and efficient operation of all equipment
- Deliver Development Plans, Succession planning, Coaching and Mentoring.
- Ensure a safe work environment through incident/accident reporting, high housekeeping standards, safe work procedures and active involvement in safety programs and meetings.
- Seek to achieve positive growth and improvement of all work activities and performance standards
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements

Skills and experience
8 years' proven gold and/or mineral processing plant and supervisor experience;
- Strong supervisory and communication skills, good interpersonal skills and interaction and ability to provide good leadership. Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices;
- MUST have a S1, S2, S3
- must have a confined space/ work at heights/bobcat/ EWP and loader ticket
- must be prepared work with and train inexperienced operators
- must be prepared to undertake a medical/D&T and undergo a Police Check
- Proven track record of operating a Milling circuit, CIL and Crushing circuit
- 10 years Gold experience in a supervisory role
- Current "C" class manual drivers licence
