Role
To be the focal point for all inspection activities related in relation to the (client). You will form part of the rope access team when required, complete piping / corrosion loops, complete statutory PV inspections and potentially conduct tank inspections where required. As the inspection focal point, you will ensure projects are run in line with health and safety best practices and without incident.
Experience Competencies
Competencies:
- Minimum of 10 years site inspection experience
- Certified to AICIP or API equivalent (API 510 & 570 as a minimum)
- NDT qualifications (UT, MPI, DPI, EC), must be either PCN, AINDT or CSWIP certified
- Proven Management Capabilities
- Rope Access IRATA Qualified
Responsibilities
- Ensuring high level of Safety Focus throughout all EM&I operations
- Managing all Inspection activities (including specialised vendor inspections) and associated findings
- Mentoring inspection personnel and ensuring their cultural development
- Work-scope and Work-pack management, including assigning resources and managing regular teams and additional ad hoc campaigns
- Review of reports prior to engineering review in the office
- Upload of Inspection Data into Asset integrity management system (NEXUS). Training will be provided on the use of this software.
- Regular communications with offshore management
- Daily brief with relevant supervisor and overview of priorities / resolve local SIMOP issues
- Permit preparation for inspection activities
- Daily communications with responsible engineers in EM&I in Perth Office
- Scoping future & additional work scopes
- Co-ordinating mobilisation and demobilisation requirements for equipment with the MLC.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)
- Supporting compliance with company and Client Health, Safety and Environment Policies
- Ensure Safety and Technical Bulletins are delivered to site-based personnel and documented sign-off, confirming understanding and acceptance, is recorded for all site-based personnel in the Site Based Personnel system in Salesforce
- Support internal and external Quality Audits including knowledge of, and actions required, to ensure that the project components of ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) are fulfilled
Intermediate user in the following Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel
Basic user in other Microsoft applications
