Seeking an experienced Lab Technician for a permanent position within a site based laboratory
Your new company
This mining house situated in North West Queensland is seeking an experienced Lab Technician for an ongoing opportunity with the view to go permanent.
Your new role
Reporting to the Lab Supervisor you will be responsible for daily operation of the onsite laboratory facilities. Your day to day duties will include sample preparation, daily production reports as well as the maintenance, calibration and operation of laboratory equipment. This role is offered on an even time roster FIFO from Townsville.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous lab experience working in a high volume laboratory, ideally within the mining industry. Experience with XRF, titrations and plant OSA systems will be highly regarded. You must be a highly skilled communicator and be able to work well autonomously as well as part of a team.
