Rema Tip Top requires Level 1, 2 & 3 Belt Splicers and Rubber Liners to join our breakdown and maintenance crews. The work involves ongoing conveyor maintenance activities on various FMG, BHP and RTIO sites across the Pilbara, and would see you consistently working an average of 38 hours per week.

We are looking for personnel who can meet the following criteria:

Experience:

• Experience working on steel cord, fabric and/or woven belts
• Substantial experience and knowledge in materials handling conveyor belt systems & associated components such as roller identification, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, transfer chutes and conveyor structures
• Experience operating conveyor vulcanising equipment as well as belt handling equipment
• Rollers installs and change outs, refurbishments, roller frames
• Experience around skirting systems and conveyor structures

Attitude:

• Excellent communication skills, commitment to safety, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic
• Genuine, approachable personality.
• Willingness to undergo and pass a police check and pre-employment medical

Qualifications/Tickets:

• Current Drivers Licence
• Confined Spaces ticket
• Working at Heights ticket
• Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
• Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate (desirable)
• High Risk Work Licence including Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging etc. (desirable)
