Branch Manager
The Company
Our Client is a leading mining equipment manufacturer and service provider. They have experienced rapid growth over the past 12 months and are therefore looking to bring on an innovative, business savvy Branch Manager to manager their Perth operations.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will manage and facilitate the growth of the Perth operations by engaging directly with customer and internal staff to ensure that outstanding customer value is provided.
The position is 35% sales and customer retentions and 65% general day to day operations of the branch.
This person will be managing a team of around 8-10 people.
This position is responsible for:
• Engage with clients to ensure that relationships are maintained to a high level
• Strategically focus on areas of growth in both current clients and potential new business
• Provide support to the Sales Representative and Sales Clerks in day to day operations
• Ensure that the day to day branch operations are running smoothly and effectively
• Maintain the appropriate stock levels through efficient ordering processes
• Ensure that all credit control and debt collection are managed alongside the company guidelines
• Work with other Branch Managers to promote the products and services of the company
• Focus on staff and customer retention
• Target new client acquisition
Ideal Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role ideally within a Mining or heavy industrial sector
• Experience working towards achieving/ exceeding a budget
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to win new business and attend client visits when needed
• Ability to manage a profit/ cost centre
• Fantastic organisational and planning skills
• Ability to look at the bigger picture and be innovative with new ways of working
