We are seeking a diverse and talented individual to take on the role of Maintenance Execution Coordinator at our Area C Mine.  Your duties will include:

  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Assist supervisors with the execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities using internal or external resources, safely, efficiently, and to a high standard when required.
  • Ensuring compliance to the Safety Management Plans and Safe Systems of Work during day to day maintenance activities & outages.
  • Ensure all incidents, near misses or hazards are reported and investigated timely and accurately to ensure compliance with the Western Australian Iron Ore incident reporting guidelines. Including participation and or leading / facilitating ICAM’s as required.
  • Weekly work order prioritization.
  • Review shutdown forward log and the risk based prioritization, to prioritize work in the shutdown revision.
  • Shutdown scope validation (shutdown work order prioritization), review and approval of work.
  • Review and control of 1SAP work management backlog.
  • Assist with weekly WM close out, monitoring and controlling.
  • Assist with reviewing OEM / services reports and raise notifications for corrective maintenance work.
  • Assist with the facilitation of the daily notification meetings; notification approval, ensuring of adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process.
  • Assist with developing PMO3’s , planning the breakdown work, and ordering parts.
  • Assist with managing parts for weekly plan.
  • Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment as per the 1SAP process.
  • Validate quality of work performed by 3rd parties and the related service entry sheets.
  • Review and request updates to Work Management and other Master Data as required (e.g. Task List and Work Instructions)
  • Identify where Work Instructions are required and initiate development and implementation.
As the successful candidate you will ideally possess the following:

  • Appropriate trade or tertiary qualifications (Desirable but not essential)
  • Valid Australian C class driver’s license
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP
  • Proven ability to communicate plans clearly and concisely
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Detailed knowledge of tasks related to maintaining fixed plant equipment (+5 years Maintenance experience required)
  • Technical experience and sound knowledge of precision maintenance (fastening, lubrication, alignment, balancing)
Location

With this role, you will be fly in fly out from Perth to Mining Area C on an 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster.  Our Area C mine is located approximately 100kms north west of Newman, West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include; a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis court, basketball court and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
