PCS Engineer - Grosvenor Mine
Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager (EEM) you will be responsible for the management and coordination of all Process Control Systems activities associated with the mine infrastructure and plant operations. In this crucial role, you will be accountable for ensuring that PCS infrastructure is installed and maintained to appropriate standards, that PCS systems are programmed and maintained to operate safely and efficiently. Planning PCS activities to be integrated into new projects or systems, applying statutory obligations and managing works to budgeted time and cost. You will have input into site strategies and plans, consistently delivering performance targets and seeking continuous improvement.
You will have previous experience working as an Electrical or PCS Engineer within the Mining Industry (preferably in underground operations) along with knowledge of mine operation systems (Citect V6.1,B GE Fanuc 90-30/VersaMAX/Rx3i PLC, Proficy Machine Edition Version 7 and Proficy Change Management, RSLogix 500 PLC Design, RXLogix 5000 PLC Design, Advanced Networking Skills, Cisco LAN Experience, Aspen IP21, OSI PI).
This is a key role and as such requires a highly organised individual with strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to problems solving. Your ability to build strong relationships with all levels in the organisation will enable you to effectively deliver support to achieve the overall goals of the Engineering & Maintenance Department.
This position is offered on a 7 on 7 off roster.
