The Opportunity – Manager Projects and Engineering
Based at the Innovation Campus, the Projects and Engineering Manager is responsible for providing leadership, expertise and direction to the Engineering and Projects function. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage, govern and control the standards, technical documentation, approval of modifications to plant and equipment, and the definition, planning and execution of small projects.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Develop, supervise, monitor and review engineering standards and procedures forming part of mining operations at the mine
- Develop and maintain asset replacement strategy
- Delivery of capital projects in line with Capital Project Framework
- Own and maintain the Operation blueprint
- Own and administer the Management of Change process
- Governance of structural integrity standards
- Ensuring safe operation of plant and equipment through compliance with process control design standards
- Review and evaluate requests for equipment authorization
About You

- Tertiary Qualifications in Science or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Engineering function
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in contractor management
- Managed projects and held accountability for budgets at a function level
