Must have over 15 years experience, and have been involved with numerous, diverse, successful projects in Australia. Experience with world-wide projects would be also be ideal.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Steel Structure Demolition, Concrete Structure Demolition, Chimney Stack Demolition, Bridge Demolition, Tower Demolition, by the controlled use of explosives. (ie. Demolition of large structures)
- Planning and presentation of full Explosive Demolition plan for project, including use and safety.
- Prepare and setup safe blast area.
- Safe and efficient operation of all Explosive requirements
- Committed to WMS compliance, environmental procedures and standards.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years extensive experience
- Australian Explosives Licence ticket (required for each state)
- Australian shotfirers ticket
- Planning of exclusion zones for Explosive Demolition
- Commitment to WMS compliance, environmental procedures and standards
- Commitment to improvement with efficiency, including safe practices and procedures
- Commitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards
- Ensure good clear communication within team and all departments
- Safe and positive attitude
- Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and AFP check
QUALIFICATIONS & AFFILIATIONS:
- Member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers, and Explosive Engineers
- Australian Licences to use Explosives (endorsed Demolition)
- Shotfiring Certificates
