Brunel is an industry leader when it comes to delivering successful results for our client base across the Construction, Rail, Power Generation & Renewables, Mining and Oil & Gas industries.

Our client provides essential and community services to remote communities within WA. Due to continued growth within the Power sector there is an opportunity available for a Power Coordinator to join operations within the Pilbara region FIFO from Perth on 3/2roster, initially contracted until October 31st, the client has the upmost confidence this will lead to a contract extension/full time position post this date.

 

Key Responsibilities;

  • Coordination and supervision to power personnel and sub-contractors in relation to power infrastructure.
  • Development and execution of tender information and ensuring all works related documentation is completed.
  • Ensure you apply a high level of duty of care and a high level of health and safety standards.
  • Ensuring scheduling and execution of all maintenance and repair works.
  • Validated knowledge of and compliance with industry standards/regulations.
  • Regularly reporting to the Operations Manager.


Key Requirements;

  • Electrical trade qualifications.
  • Current First Aid, CPR and LV rescue (HR driver’s license desirable).
  • 5 years’ proven experience in a similar position.
  • Highly competent in diesel generation systems, power station control management and maintenance.
  • Proficient in scheduled/unscheduled maintenance/service works.

 

Our client is offering an attractive pay rate and 3/2 roster. This is a contract position up until October 31st 2018 with an immediate start and the intent to extend the contract.
