Shriro Australia is a growing, innovative and successful manufacturer and distributor of the major consumer brands Everdure by Heston bluementhal, Casio, Blanco, Omega, Omega Altise and Robinhood in the both the Australian and New Zealand markets.
A fantastic opportunity now exists for a passionate Demand Planner to join the Shriro Operations division and be an integral part of the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
Reporting to the Demand Manager (Australia), you will work closely with our Sales & Marketing and product development teams to generate demand plans that best reflect our sales plans and company goals.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Sales forecasting – referencing history, promotional plans, market trends, customer orders, customer forecasts and collaborator input.
- Capturing & publishing forecasts using our Planning Software.
- Presenting data clearly and concisely to Senior Management for review
- Chairing and facilitating Demand Meetings and publishing Consensus Forecasts / Demand Plans.
- Implementing best practice processes
- Maintenance of Master data files to ensure correct product classification and planning data integrity.
- Analysis of Market data to aid in the forecasting process.
- Working with the Supply Planners and Supply Chain Manager to balance our Supply and Demand across our multiple warehouses.
- Monitor sales vs forecast throughout the monthly planning cycles to quickly identify and react to over/under achievements.
- Measuring and striving to improve forecast accuracy to optimise stock levels
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a Sales & forecast Planning environment
- Have the ability to engage with and support multiple stakeholders and have the ability to challenge & influence where required.
- Strong Analytical skills and advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with forecasting systems and MRP.
- High level organisation skills and an eye for detail
- Experience within the appliances / consumer electronics market and/or dealing with long planning horizons.
- Experience in managing the demand to support major retail groups.
