About the business
Vetcentric is a leading Veterinary Independent Management Group. We enjoy challenging the status quo by launching innovative projects in the veterinary space. We assist our Independent Veterinary Practice Members to grow and thrive in this challenging industry. We are rapidly expanding and now have members in several states of Australia.
About the role
Providing dedicated business coaching and also assisting with the day to day running of several veterinary practices in conjunction with key stakeholders (practice manager, owner, head vet and/or nurse, etc).
This includes all aspects of managing a veterinary practice.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who believes in our vision and passion and does whatever it takes to make things happen.
The PGM is also responsible for further developing relationships with members and demonstrating leadership.
The role requires you be able to:
- Deliver effective presentation and positioning of Vetcentric wide range of offerings,
- Maintaining the integrity of our brand and position as market leader
- Being an advocate for Vetcentric, utilising resources to provide advice, support and guidance to ensure an exceptional member experience
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and capability
- Help maximise marketing opportunities for the member ensure profitable outcomes
- Build strong relationships and provide effective coaching to identify business improvement opportunities and solutions to ensure profitable growth and development with our network of members

- Small business management especially during high levels of change.
- Experience managing a diverse workforce and coaching others.
Preferred
- Veterinary or Health sector background
- Good change management capability
- Experience in procurement and stock control.

- Veterinary or medical industry knowledge
- Ability to use several Veterinary Practice Management Systems.
- Above average IT literacy including competent with cloud-based systems such as Google Suite and cutting edge technology.
- Financial acumen such as the ability to read and understand a P&L and apply the information in a practical situation.
