Daily tasks and responsibilities:

• Operates clamp, slip-sheet, or fork sit-down lift truck to load/ unload trailers and palletize floor-loaded merchandise. Transfers pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes set up by warehouse or to other areas of the depot.  Transfers empty pallet stacks within the depot.  Cleans area daily.
• Operates electric pallet jack to move pallets of received merchandise to shipping lanes or to other areas of the depot.
• Operates fork sit-down lift truck to load delivery trailers. Scans outgoing merchandise as loaded to generate computerized shipping manifest.  Hand stacks unpalleted goods for efficient use of trailer space.  Monitors equipment.
• Counts, and logs incoming and out going pallets. Loads and unloads trailers of pallets using manual and electric pallet jacks and power lift trucks.
• Scans merchandise using radio frequency (RF) gun to verify UPC and item. Keys received goods into computer using RF gun and prints pallet tags. Notifies Manager of any miss marked, damaged or mis-shipped items.
• Other duties as directed

Qualifications:

Education/Training:         High School

Licenses/Certifications:  Must hold a Forklift licence

Knowledge/Skills:           Basic computer skills

Essentials:

• Must have warehousing experience and must be physically fit
• Must undergo a math/logic test test
• Will require a satisfactory criminal record check as the facility is an AQIS bonded facility
• Will be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test before resuming
• Must be able to work in split shift / rotating roster / Saturdays
