The Training Specialist will be responsible for planning, organising and executing product training to Retailers and internal Field team as well as Samsung staff for the Consumer Electronics (CE) divisions nationally.
Your new role
- Take ownership of the planning, organising and executing of product training to Retailers, Field team and internal Samsung staff for the CE divisions nationally, as guided by the HO
- Work with product specialists to develop, and create relevant training materials that help drive sell out
- Work with State Manager to assess local training needs, coordinate a training plan (in conjunction with HO direction and objectives) and execute the agreed plan
- Ensure Field team are always equipped, trained and competent to deliver instore training.
- Work with State Manager to plan and organise training events within the State which they reside.
- Utilise all training tools and reporting tools to track store knowledge, identify gaps and address issues
- Analysis and reporting of training information - who, where, when, how
- Work with the Regional Development Manager/Sales Associate and Field team and other internal partners to understand training requirements at store level, and create training programs that deliver training needs
- Conduct training in store or at training events.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with retail staff, store managers, store owners, area managers and state managers
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive Training experience including planning, organising and executing of product training
- Driver’s License and access to a reliable car
- Strong technical aptitude with advanced knowledge of Consumer Electronics categories / products across Home Appliance and Audio Visual, along with advanced IT knowledge
- Retail Sales experience within the Consumer Electronics industry, including merchandising experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- A wealth of knowledge about current technology
- Strong multimedia skills with the ability to create, edit and distribute content for digital channels as required.
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to audiences of all sizes.
