Our innovative team is expanding and we are searching for an E-Commerce Assistant to support the online team, drive efficiency and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the role:

Based at the Sneakerboy Warehouse, the full-time Sneakerboy E-Commerce Assistant will be accountable for the day to day support and operation of the E-Commerce department. Reporting into the E-Commerce Manager you will be accountable for responding to all customer enquiries and will deliver an exceptional customer experience every time. Additionally, you will fulfil administrative duties relating to the back-end and front-end of the website.

The role may at times require weekend work, usually on a Saturday morning. A rotating roster will be utilised in the weeks that weekend work is necessary in order to meet the needs of the business. 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage the Sneakerboy Helpdesk, ensuring all customer enquiries are responded to as a priority
  • Follow up and resolve all customer order enquiries by liaising with the relevant departments
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure communication flow for all processes, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Accurate and efficient data entry
  • Daily operations including picking and packing high priority customer orders, monitoring exceptional quality control of all outgoing product at all times
  • Manage all customer return authorisations
  • Dynamically report on Helpdesk, stock transfers and order fulfilment status' to the E-Commerce Manager
  • General administrative duties in support of the E-Commerce department

Skills and experience:

  • Exceptional customer service standards
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Sound understanding of E-Commerce functions, including back-office websites and fraud
  • Sound judgement and the ability to problem solve
  • Fast worker, performs well under pressure and can multi-task
  • Computer savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to meet competing deadlines with ease
  • Ability to work as part of a team
