About the business and the role

Willaid Healthcare Equipment was established in 1995 and continues to supply high quality healthcare and mobility equipment to the Coffs Harbour and wider Mid North Coast regions.

We have an opportunity for someone with excellent computer and customer service skills to join our team as a Showroom Assistant.  The successful candidate will have intermediate Microsoft skills, experience answering the phone and providing service over the phone and experience in sales.     

National Police check is required for this role. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

DUTIES

  • Deliver excellence in customer service to actively promote sales of products and services
  • Answer telephone and provide customer service over the phone
  • Demonstrate adherence to company values of Integrity, Respect, Passion, Leadership and Innovation
  • Develop product knowledge to provide information and advice to clients 
  • Liaise and work closely with Occupational Therapists, medical professionals, clients and family members to provide solutions to client needs
  • Operate Point of Sale
  • Process all orders and correspondence on the online portal
  • Generate invoices
  • Use a range of computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • Assist in the co-ordination of delivery schedules and follow ups
  • Assist in the co-ordination of testing and tagging of equipment on a periodic basis
  • Hire out equipment and ensure roll over of hire equipment is maintained
  • Clean and stock the showroom
  • Undertake training as required and other duties as directed

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL

  • Excellent attitude of service
  • Experience in sales
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Experience in MS Office suite of products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external contacts
  • Responsible, reliable, trustworthy, flexible and dependable
