About the role:
Looking for an experienced Area Manager who will relocate to QLD, the sunshine state!!
You will be managing multiple sites within department stores, Retail stores and Pharmacy networks from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Far North Queensland. The Fragrance portfolio includes brands such as Valentino, Prada, and Versace- just to name a few.
You will visit our key doors , such as Chermside and Carindale on a weekly basis and work with our counter managers to build their business through sales techniques, product knowledge and team management.
We are open to hearing from candidates who have a background in premium or luxury retail businesses within fashion, beauty or accessories. We are interested in speaking with candidates who are based in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, responsibilities include:
- Achieving allocated sales territory budgets
- Reporting, reviewing and developing wholesale and retail performance outcomes and analysing opportunities for future growth.
- Developing business action plans in line with the Fragrance & Beauty Division National Strategy
- Managing rosters and staffing in department stores to ensure profitable sales outcomes through effective rostering, and salary to sales budgets.
- Providing a high standard of Fragrance & Beauty brand merchandising in line with set national merchandising direction and guidelines.
- Ensuring the effective set up and sell through of all Fragrance and Beauty launches across all channels of distribution in line with National sales and marketing direction
The Ideal Candidate
- You have 3 - 5 years' experience in an Area Manager role within the fragrance and beauty industry, ideally across multi-site locations and key department store accounts.
- You have experience partnering with Department Stores & Pharmacies.
- You are a strong leader and can inspire, motivate, engage and drive results
- You are results focused and able to focus personal, individual and team efforts on the achievement of sales targets and overall business results.
