We are now seeking a self-driven and like-minded retail professional to work with our client - Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd. to manage a group of accounts with the objective to maintain, grow and achieve sales and profit targets. 

Your new opportunity

The role of Territory Manager requires you to drive Samsung advocacy within a selected territory of key retail channels to promote and create brand and product awareness for both consumers and retailers with an end goal of driving and increasing territory sell out.

Duties include (but not limited) to:

  • The primary function is to provide and deploy services as a Territory Manager to Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd (the client)
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with retail staff, store managers, store owners, area managers and state managers
  • Facilitation of Sales, Product and Experience Training for Retail/Business Sales staff both during and after hours
  • Achieve targeted territorial growth at a rate consistent within the business strategy and sales targets
  • Assist Samsung to understand the key issues in field and help to provide tactical and strategic solutions back to the business
  • Act as a general escalation point between Samsung and channels to assist in issue resolution
  • Deliver live online reporting on a daily basis, and ensure all speciality reporting is completed in the required timeframe
  • Lead by example by acting as a Samsung Ambassador in Samsung and Retail Channels
  • Manage the in Store POS, major Shop Display and promotional activation within  the designated area
  • Effectively manage finite budget where required

Travel will be required across the following Regions:

Majority of Territory in Bathurst and must be based in Bathurst Region

Tamworth once a month visit for 3-4 nights

Wagga Wagga fortnightly visit for 1-2 nights

Orange, Parkes 1 day stay

About You

  • Successful candidate must reside in Bathurst Region
  • Cert IV in TAE or Business management preferred not essential
  • 2 years’ experience in competitive sales/retail environment is desirable
  • Proven success in client relations and Field Account Management
  • Knowledge around telecommunications/ Consumer Electronics industry is advantageous
  • A self-starter with exceptional people skills and an influencing style
  • Knowledge of the principles, training methods, and techniques used in training/adult learning/education.
  • Strong capability using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word
