Jim Murphy Express is currently looking for a self-motivated and capable person to join our dedicated and energetic team of professionals on a casual basis.

Jim Murphy's possesses one of Canberra's best selections of local and imported beers, wines and spirits and we pride ourselves on giving educated advice and professional service to customers. Duties will encompass the usual customer service and retail responsibilities.
 

We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills who is responsible and vibrant in the workplace. The role requires an individual who can handle retail responsibilities as well as someone with an element of physical capability in order to carry out the tasks required of working in a busy liquor retailing store. Experience in the wine industry and retail is preferred, however it is not necessary.

Applicants must be available to work both during the week and on weekends. The role will involve roughly 15 to 25 hours per week with more work available during busy periods. There is no late evening work involved. As we are not easily accessible by public transport, it is recommended that applicants have their own means of transport. It is preferred that applicants for this position have a current Manual Drivers Licence.
