• National office based at Eagle Farm in Brisbane

• Analyse existing stock levels and sales and project forecasted inventory requirements and place forward orders and liaise closely with our suppliers/factories currently in China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam
• Strong communication in working closely with our Freight Forwarder and warehouses     
• Work closely with our Merchandise and Finance teams and facilitate the demand planning activities associated with our sales & marketing activities
• Monitor stock levels and work closely with merchandising to reduce slow moving stock
• Manage stock levels to optimise weeks cover within budget parameters
• Effective control of inventory status and act upon forecast accuracy variance reporting and report on exceptions
• Regular communication and reporting of stock availability to our internal stakeholders and retail stores

Skills and Experience required

• Proven experience and successful track record of high achievements in inventory & demand planning, reporting & analysis
• Have had immediate experience in new system implementations, procedures and training
• Minimum of 5 years-experience, preferably in direct importing of bulky goods and the furniture industry will be considered
• Strong analytical skills and ability to review large volumes of data
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written with an ability to positively influence internal stakeholders
• Advanced level of MS Excel skills and MYOB
• Skilled in project management with the strong ability to implement and maintain processes
• Be able to work both independently and with a team in a busy office environment
